Denne liste er lavet for at give et overblik over hvad de forskellige Usenet Providers tilbyder og priser. Jeg her ingen personlige interesser i nogen Usenet Providers udover som bruger.

Listen vil blive opdateret løbende, med brugernes indlæg.

Ord, farve og effekt forklaring:

Farverkoder: Grøn: godt; Rødt: dårligt; Blå "*": er et weblink
Prisen: Er altid, med mindre der står andet for en måneds abonnement
Karakter (Personally rating): Min samlede vurdering: 5 = udsøgt, 3 = tilfredsstillende, 1 = middelmådigt, 0 = sucks
Opbevaring (Retention): Antal dage at udbyderen gemmer data, højere er bedre
Antal forbindelser (Connections): almindeligvis kan 1 forbindelse (connection) ca. trække 1-2 megabit
Mbit/s: Megabit/sekund
SSL: Krypterings standart
Forbrug (Consumption): Hvor mange gigabytes der kan hentes pr. måned – ubegrænset (unlimited) er at foretrække
Privacy Politik (Privacy Policy): Deres politik for udlevering af personlig information
Logning Politik (Logging Policy): Hvilke oplysninger de logger på download og upload
Unikt ID: En metode til at logge uploaders konto og IP adresse
Betalingsmetode: Visa-, Mastercard foretrækkes
Udbyder land (Provider country): IFPI har vundet en sag over den amerikanske Usenet Provider Usenet.com som formodentlig vil give problemer for alle amerikanskeudbydere – derfor er amerikanske udbydere uønsket.
Andet (Other): Andre ting
Dele konto (Share accounts): Betyder at flere kan dele samme konto

Purpose:

This index is designed to provide an overview of the various Usenet Providers offers and prices. I have no personal interest in any Usenet Providers besides as user.

The index will be maintained regularly with users’ contribution.

Color Codes: Green: good; Red: poor; Blue "*": a web link
Price: Unless it says otherwise always for a monthly subscription
Personally rating: My overall rating: 5 = excellent, 3 = average, 1 = way below average, 0 = sucks
Retention: The number of days the provider stores data - higher is better
Connections: Usually 1 to connection (connection) approx. draw 1-2 megabits
Mbit/s:Megabit/seconds
SSL: Encryption standard
Consumption: How many gigabytes can be downloaded per month - unlimited is preferable
Privacy Policy: Your policy on disclosure of personal information
Logging Policy: What information does the provider log on download and upload
Unique ID: A method to log upload account and IP address
Payment methods: Visa, Master Card is preferred
Provider country: IFPI has won a case against the US Usenet Provider: Usenet.com and its likely to cause problems for all US suppliers - So US providers is undesirable.

Share accounts: More than 1 IP adress can share an account
