YES THIS CAN REPLACE SWAP MAGIC/AR2/GS BOOT DISKS!!!!
Follow my instructions and you will master an installation cd allowing you to turn any psx/ps1 original cd into a ps2 boot disk
Cogswap Installer Explained - revamped - Simplified & Brought together as One
Or..... How to install an exploit into your ps2 memory card to allow you to boot cdr & dvdr based ps2 backups using a psx/ps1 original game of your choice.
The pack includes -
The Exploit files
& finally My extensive .nfo explaining how to do this EXACTLY
You WILL need a
pc
cd-writer
ps1 game
Blank cdr
ps2
ps2 memory card
&
a once only boot method - ie - swap magic cd - action replay - gameshark - breaker pro - a chipped ps2 - come on u gotta have access to at least one of these for 5 minutes ^_^
Follow my instructions and you will master an installation cd allowing you to turn any psx/ps1 original cd into a ps2 boot disk
- combine this with a swipe card the template is here - <http://forum.fucktheinter.net/viewtopic.php?t=1654>
You now have the ability to boot any ps2 cdr or dvd-/+r backup on your ps2.
At no point have I claimed this is all my own work, coding has been a culmination of works and assembly another -
Never brought together before as a package -
I cant find one so I've made this one - the nfo is my own.
Enjoy
ok heres the gen

************************* PART 1 *************************
Extract to ur hdd and plac in a folder called ps2
C:/ being the root of the hard drive you are going to use - doesnt have to be c: but remember to alter all my prompts if you dont.
Make sure you have an original Playstation one cd game or demo disk
Put this game into your cd drive of your pc
uncompressed into folder c:ps2 should be
the file - titleman.exe & a dos prompt shortcut
the folders - exploit & cdgenps2v2
run dos - click my shortcut or -
(command prompt -Start-allprograms-accessories-command prompt for the newbies- xp )
""-typed commands are between quotes-the quotes ARENT typed!
@ the command prompt type
"cd.." (press enter)
repeat this until your dos window shows you at c:
type
"cd c:ps2"
ok your dos prompt should read c:ps2
next- type
"titleman -c"
This will make another file in your c:ps2 directory - called title.db, this is the file we are going to remake to boot your ps2 with your ps1 disk!!
Editing The psx disks SYSTEM.CFG for BOOT=cdrom:SCXX_XXX.XX;1
- HOWTO -
OK minimise the dos window for now open up windows explorer and find the cd drive you have your ps1 game in - open up the root of the cd and find a file called system.cfg you may not be able to see the .cfg file extension because windows has associated *.cfg files for its own - ignore this there is only one system file on a ps1 cd root drag this icon/file into notepad -
Find & copy the SCXX_XXX.XX part
Example=SCED_018.22;1 - dont copy the ;1
Back to the dos window
type
"titleman -a [ID/filename]"
Example= titleman -a SCED_018.22 where SCED_018.22 is your ps1 disks id
this will produce a change in the title .db file - this is your hacked title.db file
move it into your exploit folder now and close all other windows - dos and windows explorer & take out your ps1 original cd and put it somewhere safe for later on. ^_^
************************* PART 2 *************************
open the cdgenps2v2 folder
START cdgenPS2(English).exe
To start, drag SYSTEM.CNF into the right column.
Right-click on system.cnf in the project window, go to edit.
Check the fix Lba box. change the LBA to 2331
Now, add these files to the right column. *** IN THIS ORDER**
EXPINST.ELF
CDVD.IRX
TITLE.DB
Now drag the whole C:ps2ExploitFiles folder to the right column
i.e
Files
BOOT.ELF
mcPS2load.elf
your file structure is now ready
Click the image button on the left of the cd dvd gen app to make your bin & cue
This bin & cue should be burned with nero -
at a slow speed mine burns fine @1x & I have found pocket cd-rs (210mb) have a quicker spin-up&down time on the ps2 but normal hq cdr will be fine.
************************* PART 3 *************************
OK - Armed with your
ps1 game
newly burnt cdr
ps2
ps2 memory card with the system config deleted - ( start up your ps2 with no game in and goto your memory card browser highlight your system config icon - the first one usually and delete it !)
a once only boot method - ie - swap magic cd - action replay - gameshark - breaker pro - a pals chipped ps2 - come on u gotta have access to at least one of these for 5 minutes ^_^
########### Chipped ps2 method #############
Boot your ps2 with your memory card and the burned cd you will see an installation take place ( its to YOUR memory card so make sure you use yours!!
thats it now boot Your non chipped ps2 with Your newly modded memory card using the ps1 disk you used earlier on
########### NON-Chipped ps2 method #############
Use swap magic cd - action replay - gameshark - breaker pro or whatever method you choose to boot/swipe/slidecard/fliptop-lid/knifetrick your newly burned cdr -
Boot it with your your ps2 memory card you will see an installation take place
( It installs to your memory card so make sure you use YOURS !!)
Thats it.
Now boot Your non chipped ps2 with Your newly modded memory card using the ps1 disk you used earlier on.
#########################################################################################
NOW AT THE EXPLOIT MENU GO TO BADATA AND CLICK ON IT THEN CHOOSE WHICH PROGRMA U WANT
I RECOMMEND TO BOOT WITH CDLOADER CAUSE IT BOOTS ALL THE GAMES TAHT NEED FIKES AND BOOTS THE ONES THAT DONT EVEN NEED FIXES SO ITS ALL AROUND BAD ASS!
CDLOADER.ELF (BOOTS ALL GAMES THAT NEED FIXES)
OR
COGSWAP.ELF (SIMPLE BOOTER)
*************************Cdloader Instructions*************************
SAME AS COGSWAP
************************* Cogswap Instructions *************************

Altså man kan godt hente en bootdisk men den virker ikke uden chip. For det andet skal man til alle boot disks bruge Slide Tricket som ødelægger maskinen.... Så nej
